Frequently asked questions

How does YuSMP Group choose a technology stack for a new project?

We start from product constraints — load profile, team familiarity, compliance scope, total cost of ownership over 3–5 years — and only then pick the stack. The 88 technologies on this page are our default toolbox; we recommend whichever combination fits your case. We are not religious about any single framework; we have shipped FinTech on .NET and HealthTech on Node, GovTech on Django and EdTech on Next.js.

Which languages and frameworks are your strongest?

Our highest concentration of senior engineers is on TypeScript (React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS), Python (Django, FastAPI, data & ML), Swift, Kotlin and Flutter for mobile, and AWS + Kubernetes for cloud. We have strong .NET and Java benches for enterprise integrations and offer Go for performance-critical microservices.

Can you join an existing codebase or do you only build from scratch?

Both. About 40% of our engagements are joining an existing codebase — handover, refactoring, modernization or new-feature delivery. We do a 1–2 week discovery before commitment to map architecture, dependencies, test coverage and tech-debt hotspots.

Do you support legacy stacks like PHP 7, AngularJS or older .NET Framework?

Yes. We can maintain or migrate from PHP 5–7 to PHP 8 or Laravel/Symfony, AngularJS to React or Vue, .NET Framework 4.x to .NET 8, and Java 8 to 17/21. Migrations run as a parallel-track project with the legacy system staying live until cutover.

Which AI and LLM stacks do you work with?

OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4.1, o-series), Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, plus open-weight Llama, Mistral and Qwen for on-prem or air-gapped deployments. Orchestration on LangChain, LlamaIndex or custom code; vector stores on pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate or Qdrant. We deliver RAG pipelines, agents, fine-tuning and evals.

Can you commit to a stack we have already chosen?

Yes — if it is a reasonable production stack and we have engineers with that experience. We will not switch to a stack we do not have senior engineers in; in that case we will refer you honestly to a partner.
