Find your iPhone UDID online
Your developer needs the UDID to add your iPhone or iPad to a test build of the app. Get it in a minute right on the phone, with no computer and no iTunes.

Send the UDID to your developer. They will add the device in Apple Developer and rebuild the app, and the test version will then install on your iPhone.

How to find the UDID on a Mac (Finder)
- Connect the iPhone to your Mac with a cable and unlock it. If asked, tap Trust.
- Open Finder and select the iPhone in the sidebar.
- Click the line under the device name that shows the model and storage. Each click switches it: serial number, then UDID.
- Right-click the UDID and choose Copy UDID.
On Windows
In the Apple Devices app or in iTunes, select the iPhone and click Serial Number until the UDID appears. Copy it with Ctrl + C.
The UDID of the Mac itself
Needed for test builds of macOS apps: Apple menu → About This Mac → More Info → System Report. Under Hardware it is the Provisioning UDID line.
Only Apple devices have a UDID
Android has no such identifier, and testing does not need one. Your developer can send an APK file or an invite to Google Play internal testing or Firebase App Distribution.

What is a UDID
A UDID (Unique Device Identifier) is the unique 25- or 40-character number of an iPhone, iPad or Mac. It survives a reset and is not the same as the serial number or IMEI.
Why developers need it
Before an app is in the App Store, it only installs on devices whose UDIDs the developer has added in Apple Developer. That is how Ad Hoc distribution and test builds work.
Is it safe to share
A UDID cannot be used to sign in to your Apple ID, reach your data or track your phone. It is an entry in an allow-list of devices, not a password.
What the profile does
It asks iOS for three fields: UDID, model and system version. It installs no apps, changes no settings and is removed right after sending.
FAQ
How do I find my iPhone UDID without a computer?
Open this page in Safari on the iPhone and tap Get my UDID. Allow the profile download, then in Settings tap Profile Downloaded → Install. Your iPhone brings you back to the page with the UDID, model and iOS version.
Why is the profile marked Unverified?
iOS marks any profile without a digital signature that way. It installs nothing: it only passes the UDID, model and iOS version to the page and is removed straight away. Installing it needs your passcode, so it cannot run without you.
Will the profile stay in Settings?
No. iOS removes it once the data is sent. You can check in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
Why does it not work from Chrome or Telegram?
iOS installs configuration profiles from Safari only. In the in-app browsers of Telegram, Instagram or Facebook and in Chrome the button will not work. Copy the link and open it in Safari.
Do you store my UDID?
No. The data arrives in the address after the # sign, and that part of a link is never sent to a server. The page shows the UDID and removes it from the address right away.
How do I find the UDID with a Mac or Windows PC?
On a Mac, connect the iPhone, open Finder, select the device and click the line under its name until the UDID appears. On Windows, do the same in the Apple Devices app or in iTunes.
