The service allows car owners to choose spares for vehicle service: a car owner places an order and provides the details about his or her vehicle. The website operators process the information, select the suitable replacement parts, and direct the response to the car owner. The service is paid online. Private persons can use it as well as legal ones.

What the customer wanted and what we did

Addressed us the client is an ace in vehicles and wanted to realize his own project – spare car parts search website. We discussed the customer’s wishes about the aggregator and started the work. At first, we created all the reference tables in the system and various forms to fulfill. After that, we worked on orders creating and processing. When everything was ready and worked the propper way, we connected the payment gateway for the service monetization.

Decisions taken

Although all the requirements were discussed and confirmed before hands, during the work on the project the customer required to change the orders processing logic. Not to postpone the project deadline, we implemented only some changes after the realization of the function. The major part of innovations was left for the next version after the MPV release.

Senior Admin, the system owner. Main tasks:

Access operating for clients who paid for the service.
Admin management and monitoring.

Admin, senior admin’s subordinate. Main task: processing replacement parts selection incoming orders.

The company, a user of the system, a legal person who represents a spares store or any other company of that kind. Main tasks:

Employees monitoring;
Employees work monitoring;
On-time account reimbursement.

Company’s employee, main system user, a worker of a care spares store, or any other company of that kind. Main tasks:

Customers’ profiles management;
Spare parts selection monitoring;
Forming orders for replacement parts selection.

Private person, main system user, who is registered on his or her own. Main tasks:

Placing orders for spares selection;
His own activity monitoring;
On-time account reimbursement.

The result

Now the website collects the users' replacement parts data and provides them with comprehensive information about vehicles. The aggregator owner makes money on paid services and content subscription. Currently, dozens of companies and hundreds of private users use the website.
