Tee times
Course, date, time, players and golf cart

An app for members of a private golf club: book tee times, invite guests with a gate pass, reserve the spa and restaurant, enter handicap tournaments, chat with other members and charge everything to the club account. We designed the product in the Bordeaux Signature concept and built a clickable prototype that runs in the browser.

In short: what the product is and who we built it for.
Fairway is a concept app for members of a private golf club with courses, a spa, a restaurant and guest rooms. Members expect personal service, yet tee times, guest passes and spa bookings often still go through calls to the concierge and messaging apps.
We built a clickable prototype in which members book course time, invite guests, reserve spa treatments and register for tournaments on their own. Everything is charged to the club account, with history and balance always at hand.
The club needed to show members and the management company what the digital service would look like and to test key flows before development. The app had to feel like an extension of the club: premium, calm and free of unnecessary steps.
Guests were a separate challenge. Members often bring friends, so the gate pass, green fee and dinner for a guest should be arranged right in the app and charged to the inviting member's account.
Tee time booking. Choose a course, date and open slot, the number of players and a golf cart. Before payment the app shows the breakdown: member and guest green fees plus cart rental.
Guest passes. The member enters the guest's name, phone and vehicle, picks a date and the services to charge to their own account. The guest gets an SMS with the pass and directions, and the pass status is visible in the app.
Club services. Spa and massage with a choice of therapist and time, and restaurant tables with a choice of area and party size. Everything is confirmed on one screen and charged to the club account.
Community. Season tournaments with registration and last year's leaderboard, a personal handicap in the profile, and club chats by tournament and interest.
We started with concepts: three visual directions for the club, of which Bordeaux Signature was chosen — deep burgundy, course photography and calm typography. Then we mapped the member and guest journeys and assembled the interface from design system components.
The prototype opens via a link on phone and desktop. For the MVP we recommend Flutter for iOS and Android, a Laravel backend and integration with the club's tee sheet and accounting systems for billing, memberships and passes.
Members of a premium club expect the app to remove hassle, not add it. A prototype lets you check with real people how many steps it takes to book a tee time or register a guest, and cut the extras before they reach the code.
A prototype also helps align the club internally: management, hospitality, the golf department and the restaurant see the same product and agree on the rules — guest limits, booking cancellation, account charges.

Key prototype screens, step by step.

The member card with handicap, course weather, account balance and upcoming bookings. Tee time booking and account top-up are one tap away.
The bottom bar leads to bookings, tournaments, chats and profile — five sections for everything a member does regularly.

Choose a course, date and open slot, the number of players and a golf cart. Taken slots are visible at once, so there is no need to check with the concierge.
At the bottom is the price breakdown with member and guest green fees, charged to the club account.

The member enters guest and vehicle details, picks the visit date and the services they will cover: green fee, restaurant, spa.
The guest receives an SMS with the pass and directions, and the gate is expecting them.

A personal handicap with season trend and the club tournament calendar. Open registrations are highlighted, and members can sign up right from the tournament card.
After registering, the player joins the tournament chat, where the organizer posts pairings and tee times.
The prototype opens in your browser, no install needed. Walk through the flows yourself: screens are linked, and buttons, fields, sheets and error states all work. It is best viewed on a phone; on a desktop it is shown inside a device frame. The prototype interface is in Russian.
Member and guest data is sensitive: phone numbers, vehicles, visit history. In the prototype, sign-in uses the phone number from the membership agreement, and passes are issued only on a member's invitation.
In development, access rights and data storage follow the club's jurisdiction — GDPR in the EU and applicable US state privacy laws — and data exchange with the gate access control system runs over a secure channel.
